2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser / Lexus Gx550 D-ss A-pillar Light Kit (spot) (pair) - Rigid Industries

Rigid Industries 2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser / Lexus GX550 D-SS A-Pillar Light Kit (Spot) (Pair)

The Rigid Industries 2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser / Lexus GX550 D-SS A-Pillar Light Kit (Spot) (Pair) delivers a complete, high-output ditch and trail lighting package engineered specifically for modern Land Cruiser 250-Series and Lexus GX550 platforms. By pairing Rigid's innovative D-SS (Dually Side-Shooter) LED pod lights with vehicle-tailored cowl mounting brackets, this kit significantly expands forward and peripheral night visibility without impeding driver sightlines or hood clearance.

Featuring side-shooting LEDs alongside primary forward-projecting spot optics, the D-SS pods generate a wide 120-degree horizontal beam pattern. The central spot optics reach far down dark trails and unlit roads to highlight distant obstacles, while the side-firing LEDs illuminate ditch lines, trail margins, and tight turns for comprehensive situational awareness during night runs.

Constructed with high-strength stainless steel brackets and rugged cast aluminum light housings, this A-pillar lighting kit is built to withstand severe off-road vibration, heavy weather, and harsh trail exposure. Supplied with a complete wiring harness and mounting hardware, it offers Land Cruiser and GX550 owners a durable, professional bolt-on lighting upgrade.

Features

• Vehicle-Specific Cowl Brackets: Custom-engineered specifically for 2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus GX550 models for clean, low-profile alignment along the lower windshield cowl.
• D-SS Side-Shooter Technology: Combines forward-facing spot optics with side-shooting LEDs to cast an ultra-wide 120-degree horizontal light pattern.
• Long-Range Spot Optics: Concentrated center beam pierces deep into dark trails and unlit rural roads for early obstacle identification.
• Durable Aluminum Housings: Heavy-duty cast aluminum pod bodies with integrated cooling fins ensure long diode life and efficient thermal management.
• No-Drill Installation: Mounts securely using existing OEM hood hinge attachment points without requiring drilling, cutting, or permanent body modifications.

Design and Construction

Engineered to handle harsh off-road environments and continuous highway driving, the A-pillar mounting brackets feature heavy-gauge stainless steel construction. Finished in a durable black powder coat, the brackets resist rust, corrosion, and UV breakdown while complementing factory black hood trim and window seals.

The D-SS pod housings feature an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens that shields the LED array from roost, gravel, and branch strikes. Fully weather-sealed to IP68 standards, the assemblies prevent dust and water intrusion during deep stream crossings or pressure washing.

Performance and Side-Shooter Optics

The main advantage of the D-SS optic configuration is its ability to project forward light distance while simultaneously filling peripheral blind spots. While standard spot pods only project light directly ahead, the side-firing LEDs cast additional light outward at 45-degree angles, illuminating ditch lines, trail corners, and wildlife along the road shoulders.

Positioned high near the windshield base, the lights cast an elevated beam over trail obstacles and ground rises, providing a clear visual field for high-speed desert runs or technical slow-speed crawling.

Installation and Integration

The custom mounting brackets attach directly to original equipment hood hinge bolt locations at the windshield cowl. Utilizing existing factory attachment points simplifies installation and preserves body panel alignment while ensuring complete, unimpeded hood movement and wiper function.

The included complete wiring harness simplifies routing through the engine bay, featuring pre-terminated Deutsch connectors, an inline relay, fuse protection, and an interior dash switch for clean, intuitive cab operation.

Why It Stands Out

The Rigid Industries 2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser / Lexus GX550 D-SS A-Pillar Light Kit (Spot) (Pair) stands out by providing both extreme long-range distance and wide peripheral coverage in a single pod pair. Rather than mounting multiple lights to cover forward and side angles, the D-SS design combines both functions into a compact, vehicle-tailored cowl setup.

With its high-strength stainless steel mounts, IP68 weatherproofing, and side-shooting optic technology, this kit is an essential upgrade for Land Cruiser and GX550 drivers seeking maximum trail awareness after dark.
