The XL40 produces 5,224 lumens on high beam and 1,435 lumens on low beam while drawing only 43.5 watts (3.4 amps at 12.8V). The Trail Lens redistributes center beam intensity to eliminate harsh hot spots while producing a smooth blend of vertical and horizontal illumination, improving visibility through rocky switchbacks, elevation changes, hill climbs, and tight technical terrain.

Installation

This kit is a direct OEM replacement within the Husqvarna 2017-2023 headlight shell for plug-and-play installation. For Hi/Low beam functionality, the KTM/Husqvarna Hi/Low Harness (12-9016) is required and sold separately. The high beam indicator will remain illuminated when using the Hi/Low relay harness.
