2007-2009 Jeep Wrangler Jk Squadron-r Sae Fog Pocket Light Kit (standard Oe Bumper) - Baja Designs

Baja Designs 2007-2009 Jeep Wrangler JK Squadron-R SAE Fog Pocket Light Kit (Standard OE Bumper)

The Baja Designs 2007-2009 Jeep Wrangler JK Squadron-R SAE Fog Pocket Light Kit (Standard OE Bumper) is a vehicle-specific fog light upgrade engineered to replace the factory fog lights on Jeep Wrangler JK models equipped with the Standard OE bumper. Designed for seamless OEM integration, this kit delivers improved visibility in fog, rain, dust, and other challenging driving conditions while maintaining a factory-style appearance.

Each Squadron-R SAE LED light features advanced aspheric projector optics that produce a sharp horizontal cutoff and a highly controlled beam pattern. Fully compliant with SAE J583 fog lamp requirements, these road-legal lights provide dependable illumination while minimizing glare for oncoming traffic.

The kit includes vehicle-specific mounting brackets, a wiring harness, and all necessary hardware for a straightforward installation into the factory fog pocket locations.

Features

• SAE J583 Compliant: Road-legal fog lights with a controlled beam pattern.
• Aspheric Projector Optics: Delivers a sharp cutoff and focused illumination.
• OEM Fog Pocket Installation: Mounts directly into factory fog light locations.
• Vehicle-Specific Design: Engineered for Wrangler JK Standard OE bumper applications.
• Complete Installation Kit: Includes brackets, wiring harness, and mounting hardware.

SAE Fog Light Performance

The Squadron-R SAE LED lights are designed to meet current SAE J583 fog lamp standards while providing exceptional visibility in poor weather conditions. Advanced LED technology and precision aspheric projector optics increase luminous output by 56% over the previous-generation SAE model while maintaining a controlled beam with a sharp cutoff.

Each light produces 2,420 lumens with output reaching up to 15,800 measured candela while consuming only 29 watts. The beam is optimized for Zone 1 lighting, making it ideal for driving through fog, rain, dust, and other low-visibility conditions.

Vehicle-Specific Installation

This kit is engineered specifically for 2007-2009 Jeep Wrangler JK models equipped with the factory Standard OE bumper. Vehicle-specific brackets allow the Squadron-R SAE lights to install directly into the OEM fog pocket locations for a clean, integrated appearance.

Note: This kit is only compatible with Jeep Wrangler JK models equipped with the factory Standard OE bumper.

Advanced Lighting Technology

The Squadron-R SAE lights incorporate Baja Designs' ClearView® optics, MoistureBlock® waterproof construction, CopperDrive® LED management, and a 5000K Daylight color temperature for dependable lighting performance. Because these lights are SAE certified, the uService® replaceable lens system is not available in order to maintain compliance.
