You can't bend 'em or smash 'em. CV joints, rubber boots, and drive shafts on ATVs are expensinve and they need to be protected. Typical boot guards are installed with U-Bolts, this makes it difficult to install and the exposed threads are usually bent or smashed. These boot guards are designed with weld on clamps specifically located to fit your quad. They are fastened with flat headed bolts. 10 and 12 guage steel.
